I came to know Bob Kline through his thoughtful and thorough participation in Falmouth's recent Comprehensive Plan development process. Bob's earnest care for Falmouth and his attention to detail are second to none. His feedback throughout that process was always helpful and provided in the spirit of civic cooperation. As Falmouth Schools begin an important master planning process, I can think of no better resource for the Falmouth School Board and no better bridge builder between the schools and the community at large than Bob. His hard work, careful attentiveness, and innovative thinking are just what Falmouth Schools need at this moment.

The December 23, 2022 storm significantly damaged our coastal neighborhood’s community access to the shore. With 4-5 neighborhood stakeholders, we formed a small committee. Bob took the lead developing and publishing a survey tool, objectively presenting 2 proposals, tracking and reporting responses and pledges, and then managing the project through completion.

Communications to over 100 neighbors began in July 2023 and the construction finished in September 2023. Bob helped bring together 60 neighbors to privately fund safer and more secure recreational access.

This is my most recent illustration of Bob’s dedication to his community and his eagerness to help, combining a collaborative approach with an ability to communicate effectively using a variety of tools. Bob fostered inclusion and gave a voice to all perspectives, demonstrated responsible stewardship, attention to detail, organization, and a drive to complete our project on time and on budget.
